Issue No. 90 June 2007
OPEN DAY SATURDAY 2ND JUNE 2007
This was greatly helped by the weather and we had a good turnout. More encouraging was that several people went away with application forms and two, so far, have returned them. There are two other new members and we welcome them all:

Sandra Jensen of 10 Brownroyd, Earby BB18 6RY Tel: 843744
Rhonda Beharrell of 7 Brownroyd, Earby BB18 6RP Tel: 842671
Peter Dewhurst of 265 Keighley Road, Colne BB8 7HD Tel:864826; and,
Pauline Stevenson of Old Nell Laithe, Salterforth BB18 5SP

David Atherton has rejoined the club and we welcome him back. Should any of the above have access to email and be willing to accept The Rush via email please inform the editor at the address above.

The Open Day made approximately £350 and all who helped in any way are thanked for their efforts.

HELP IS NEEDED We need to weed and feed lawn 1 and help is needed to facilitate this. Please contact Abdul Ahmad if you can offer help, other lawns will be processed in turn. Lawn 5 is still out of commission as it has developed a dip. We await Jeff Perris’ decision on best practice to resolve this.

The alarm has been restarted , however it needs a separate fuse so that water gathering in the external lights does not affect it. This will be done soon. Mr G Barry who undertakes this for us has also offered to make a new set of hoops in cast iron, plus one to replace the stolen one.
In return the committee plans to offer him honorary membership.
