Pendle lose to Fylde at home in the NWFCC Short league match.

Pendle: David Pollitt (3), Catherine Parnell (4), John Snowden (5) [sub Pam Pollitt (10)] and Roy Berry (10)

Fylde: Peter Hallett (6), Ian Theakstone (7), Leonard Ainsworth (8) and Geoffrey Lipshaw (10)

The 1st match of the 2010 season saw Pendle fielding an unusual side with a team of 5 with one player playing 2 games in the morning and another player playing the afternoon games. Although a sunny day there was a biting wind so it was wrap up time.Catherine was the only Pendle player to win in the first round. Catherine and David were successful in round 2. So at lunch pendle were were 3 - 5 down.

The afternoon session saw wins from Pam and David in the 3rd round; and, Roy in the final round.

Final Result: Pendle 6 Fylde 10
