13 September 2008 Short Croquet Team suffers heavy defeat at home against Fylde. A Pendle Team composed of experienced and inexperienced players were no match for the visitors in this NWFCC Short League Match played at Eary. The consoling factor was that it was a glorious day. The lawns played reasonably well. Pendle Squad: Catherine Parnell, John Snowden, Walter Flattery and Tony Stephens.
