7 September 2008 Pendle loses the plot after a good start against Bury Peelers away. A light drizzle dominated the day. Pendle faced the formidable Andertons and the Youngs at Coronation Park Bury. Pendle flattered by wins in both of the doubles encounters were routed in the afternoon. They lost all four singles matches. Eileen Gallagher playing in her first match for Pendle came within a whisker to wininng the only sinles tie. She clanged the golden hoop and lost. Full Results to follow. | |||||||
