9 August 2008 Pendle loses 100% record in the East Pennine League following a narrow loss at Belsay Hall. Report by John Filsak. It was all down to the last game: Roger Peters against Roger Schofield. Time had been called, and Roger Schofield was on his final turn, needing to make one hoop to draw level. He failed, and the match went to Belsay by one hoop.
