10 May 2008 Robin Delves and Peter Dowdall shine for the Midweek team against Chester. Report by Barbara Dutton Result: Pendle 3 Chester 3 This was Pendle & Craven's first Midweek League fixture of the season. The match was played in very sunny, warm conditions with the call of the curlew as counterpoint to the sound of mallet on ball. Robin Delves and Peter Dowdall won all their matches. | |||||||
