10 May 2008 Short team suffers a heavy defeat at Bury. Report by Peter Dewhurst Result: Bury 11 Pendle 5 We sent a good team but the home advantage on the crown green lawns proved decisive. I won 2 games, Robin D,Peter D, and John S all won one game. It was still a very enjoyable day. Great weather, good lunch and very convivial hosts. | |||||||
