10 May 2008 Handicap team overcomes the elements at Chester. Report by Barbara Dutton Result: Chester 2 Pendle 4 The Handicap team of John Filsak, David Pollitt (Capt), Peter Dewhurst and Robin Delves travelled to Chester to play on dewy, daisy strewn lawns and came away with a 4 - 2 win. This was achieved by sharing the morning doubles matches and then in the afternoon Pendle & Craven won 3 or the 4 singles matches. John Filsak's lost singles match triggered his handicap down from 2.5 to 3.
